Virtualization isn’t going to succeed in your organization, unlike the top 100 companies in the world. Why? There are too many barriers: it’s too expensive; it’s not worth it; it’s too hard to change; someone might lose their job; it’s Someone Else’s Problem; you’re on holiday next week; virtualization is a fad; your institution won’t/can’t adapt; you don’t work that way; it’ll never catch on; your leg hurts; the ISV won’t support their application on VMware; and, what’s in it for you?

And anyway, most importantly, you have manual processes and important forms that can’t be virtualized.
