What are paid or owned projects at Viewyonder?
A paid project is funded by someone and that funding is disclosed during the project and in the deliverables. The funding helps pay for people’s time to get work done, including specialists and freelancers.
An owned project is unfunded and people contribute their time and skills for free, and they all jointly own the project deliverables depending on their contribution.
What do you mean by “crowdsourced”?
Viewyonder project members, be they researchers, writers, reviewers, or other specialists, contribute their time and skills on a freelance basis. They are not employed by Viewyonder. They organize on a per-project basis. It’s a fun way to do something different, meet people, get to work on different things, while not disrupting your regular source of income.
