I’m sat at London Heathrow Terminal 5 getting ready to fly British Airways to Denver, Colorado for Gluecon 2012.
Whilst I’m sad to be missing EMC World in Vegas (mostly, I miss all the awesome people I know who are going – you know who you are!), I’m more excited than I should be to attend a conference, here’s why:
- Chris Hoff, James Urquhart and James Governer are key noting!
- The content is amazing see the Gluecon agenda
- I get to party with Doogs!
- At VCE we are obsessed with the applications that consume Vblock, and this conference is very application focused
- I’ve never been to Colorado before
- I’m going to try ‘live blogging’ using my iPad and WordPress app
- Because I’m a bit nuts, my theme this week is Vyvyan from The Young Ones
So I intend to share as much as possible from the event, and knowing me that might include some NSFW material.
There’s an outside chance that I might even give an insight during that special moment between beer two and beer three where you’re all insightful and creative, and before your brain takes a back seat with pop corn for the night’s festivities!
Lastly, I will be using Vyvyan, from The Young Ones, as a persona to test this week on. Everything that’s said, suggested, proposed: what would Vyvyan do?
